Members are encouraged to volunteer for committee activity. Every effort is made to provide
regional representation on all committees. New committees are constituted annually in Nov/Dec
for the beginning of each business year. Members may complete the willingness to serve form

The Executive Secretary of the NYS Board of Nursing sends the following communication. I wanted to share with you that it has been brought to my attention that Emergency Departments, in some acute care facilities, are using practice protocols in an inappropriate and ultimately unlawful manner.
